Funeral Alternatives of Washington - Lacey
John Carl Sagerser
October 9th, 1938 - June 12th, 2020
John Carl Sagerser lived as a humble servant of Jesus Christ for 81 years, bringing love and joy to his friends, family, and community. He met Donna in high school and was a faithful husband to her for over 61 years. He made his home in Lacey, Washington, where he raised his three children, worked for Washington State Department of Health, and ministered to the people and churches of South Puget Sound. Carl, as he was known by most, had a profound love of reading and music. He loved getting to know people and helping them get to know Jesus Christ. His thoughtful and insightful questions were often catalysts to minister and provide comfort and healing to those around him. His genuine love and gentleness, as well as his one-liners and deadpan humor, will be missed by all. He is survived by his wife, three children (Jeni, John, and Scott), and six grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 10, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at Church of Living Water, 1615 Chambers St. SE, Olympia, WA 98501. Please leave condolences or share memories and photos on the Tribute Wall to the left.
