John Roger Salamone

John Salamone 88, passed away quietly and peacefully on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at home in Cape Canaveral, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Joy, their children Sean Brown his wife, Marty, Cape Canaveral, Erika Key, her husband Jim, Hollister, California, Christina Idemoto, her husband Mark, San Jose, California , grandchildren, Kayla Couture, Kyle Brown, Kaden Brown, Rebecca Torres, Phillip Torres, Nathan Torres, Nicole Idemoto, Krysta Idemoto, and his six great grandchildren. He loved being dad and PopPop to his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren of whom he was so proud and loved more than he could ever say. He was a retired engineer of 42 years from Kennedy Space Center. He was a corvette enthusiast and a founding member of the Cape Kennedy Corvette Club.
