We are saddened to announce that John Joseph Schultz Jr., loving husband, devoted father, and beloved "Papa”, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 28th, 2021, at the age of 72 in his home in Loveland, Colorado. Born in Culver City, CA on July 1, 1949, to John (Sr.) and Ruth Schultz, John is survived by his wife, Catherine A. Schultz (née Shumsky); his son, John J. Schultz III ("Joey”); his daughter, Amy N. Schultz; his daughter-in-law, Hallie Hemingway; and his 3 grandchildren Mackenzie, Elliot and Lincoln. A proud patriot and US Army veteran, John will be fondly remembered as an avid golfer, master of "trivia”, and skilled handyman. His humor and verve will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him. A memorial service and military funeral honors ceremony is schedule for October 20th at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
