Rodney and I as well as the entire Rooney family send our deep sympathy to Rosemary, Stephen and John and all their families. To lose Tom and now John is a hard cross to bear for all of you who were so close to them. ......and for those who knew them.....We pray for you to somehow accept such great losses.

John was a fine man and a good friend. I will miss him. I "hired" him as a Cocoa VCOP, and I begged him to serve on the Cocoa Board of Adjustment. May he rest in peace.

I worked with John for 13 years in the Baltimore City Assessment Office. On several occasions, we teamed up to review properties in the field, and I still smile when I remember an incident when a pack of dogs suddenly appeared out of nowhere while we were in the back yard of a property and we made a hasty retreat back to his car just in the nick of time! In recent years we became Facebook friends and frequent emailers. He particularly enjoyed sending me emails about sunny Florida while I was enduring Northeast winters. I will really miss that, but now he resides in an even more glorius place.

We pray that Uncle Johnny is in the comfort of God's arms and rejoicing in heaven with loved ones who have passed before him. Although we mourn the loss of such a kind and gentle man, we keep his spirit alive through wonderful memories.
