John J. Shute, Jr, 86, of Sun City Center, Fla passed away June 3, 2017. He retired as a fireman after 31 years of service for New Brunswick, NJ Fire Department. He was born in New Brunswick, NJ in 1930 to John J. and Kathleen (nee Delanoy) Sr. After retiring from the fire department, John and his wife, Doris (nee Gatarz) moved to Florida in 1990. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris, his brother, Richard Shute and his sister, Sr. Mary Elizabeth Shute. Survivors include his daughter, Carol (Larry) Patterson, two sons, Jack (Lori) Shute and Bob (Carol) Shute, five grandchildren, Jeffrey (Jessica) Patterson, Kevin (Robyn) Patterson, Jack (Sarah) Shute, Megan (Alastair) McKeever, and Lauren (fiance Adam Kelderhouse) Shute, and three great grandsons, Ryan Patterson, Jackson Shute and Adam Kelderhouse and his sister in law, Helen Shute. Memorial service will be held in New Jersey at a later date.
