STRAWSER, John Joseph, 58, of Land O’ Lakes, FL passed away Saturday, October 3, 2009. He was born in Crawfordsville, IN and raised in the Catholic Faith. John moved to Tampa in 1959 and was a Construction Engineer in cable television for 35 years. He enjoyed bowling and was also a junior bowling coach. John was an avid NASCAR and Tampa Bay sports fan. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary Delores and Lester Stark and his brother, Frank. He is survived by his wife, Catherine; two daughters, Dianna Jones and her husband, Rory and Michelle Strawser both of Wesley Chapel; brother, Jerry and his wife, Marcie of Shalimar; two brothers-in-law, Homer and Erika Claytor of Odessa and George Blackshear of St. Petersburg; granddaughter, Addison; many loving family members and friends. A celebration of John’s life will take place from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 10th at Loyless Funeral Home. hn glover death datepsychology and lung cancer
