John Richard Willett Reddington

Richard was born in Olympia, Washington April 22, 1923 to Lucille Maybelle Brassfield and Walter Lyall Willett. Lucy remarried Theodore Robert Reddington in 1927, and Richard took that name. The family operated the Starr Variety Store in Olympia for many years.Richard died early Tueasday, September 27, 2005 at Saint Clare Hospital in Lakewood, Washington. He is survived by one son, Garvin Michael, one sister, Marilou, Hawaii, two brothers, Theodore Robert, Hawaii and Dennis Michael, Illinois. Richard spent much of his early life in California working in sales in the entertainment and music industry. He loved Jazz and horses and had widely varied interests. His later years were spent in Lakewood, Washington. He will forever fondly remember those close to him, Charles, Marty, Richard and Maxine. He always intended a return to Olympia, his favorite place. Richard will be interred at Masonic Memorial Park in Tumwater.
