John L. "Smiling Jack" Windsor, 89, of Gilbert, AZ passed away at peace June 24, 2014 at home. Jack was born in Chester, PA, he was the son of the late Lester and Catherine Windsor. John was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army of WWII, Co. C 346 Infantry 87th Division and attained the ranking of Staff Sergeant. Jack is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marilyn; daughters Laura Windsor Stealey, Jackie Book, Darlene Werner, Colleen Propst and Kelly McRae; son-in-laws Larry Book, Mark Werner and Dave McRae; Grandchildren, Bill Stealey Jr., Tiffany Stopper, Aly Windsor, John Book, Scott Book, Bob Book, Brad Werner, Michael Werner, Cameron Werner, Robin Otto Propst, Tyler Propst, William Propst, Ashley Clark, Lindsay Clark and 15 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son John L. Windsor, brother Bob Windsor and sister Peggy Windsor. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Falconer Funeral Home, 251 W.
