John Edward ""Jack"" Winn

John ""Jack, Yukon, Pop"" Edward Winn left this world on November 15, 2015 at the age of 79. He ultimately passed after defying every medical professionals outlook on his end of days and proving to all of us he would make his exit when he was ready. He lived life on his own terms. Jack was born April 12, 1936 in Yonkers, NY to John Edward and Elynor Tina Winn: the first of five children. His childhood was happy and filled with love. He attended Commerce High School in Yonkers where he met and married Rose Marie Swabson on September 26, 1954. They were married for 29 years. Known to many as ""Yukon"", he lived a life of adventure from Alaska to South America. He is survived by his children Jack Winn (wife Julie, son Johnny), Ken Winn (wife Nancy, children Chris and Christina), Charles ""Chick"" Winn (wife Karen, daughter Samantha, son Seth), Frank Winn (wife Kathy, Johnny and daughter Rose), Greg Winn (children Ashley, Brianna, Charles ""Chick"" and Joseph), Penny Porteous (husband Chuck, children Zachary and Joshua). You are welcome to join the family at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 21, 2015, to celebrate the life of John Edward Winn at the Elk's Lodge in Cocoa Beach, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations are made to the campaign of who ever is running against Hillary Rodham Clinton in the 2016 election or to the Florida Elks (Harry-Anna Crippled) Children's Hospital.
