Frankfort Johnathan Douglas Hippe, 49, died Thursday, January 23, 2014. A native of Frankfort, he was born on May 23, 1964 to Diana Hippe, of Frankfort and the late Norman Douglas Hippe. Mr. Hippe worked for the State of Kentucky in the Division of Printing. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Julia (Jeremy) Triplett, Frankfort; his sister, Melinda (Brad) Chase, Frankfort; his brother, Gordon (Jill Young) Hippe, Cincinnati, OH; his granddaughter, Harper Triplett, Frankfort; his nieces, Amelia Chase, Kirstyn Hippe, Kendyl Hippe and Kathryn Hippe; and his nephew, Josh Chase. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey Hippe. Funeral Information A gathering of Family and Friends will be 4-7pm Monday, January 27, 2014 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. The Celebration of Life Service will follow at 7pm. Honorary pallbearers will be Will Graham, Kip Waller, Tommy Hockensmith, Pete Smith, Louis Mitchell and Betty Chase.
