John Paul ""Johnathan"" Souders Jr., 68 of Cocoa Beach and owner of Johnathan's Pub for over 40 years passed away Saturday, December 11, 2010. He was an U.S. Navy veteran during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Johnathan was preceded in death by his father John P. Souders, Sr. and his mother Dorothy A. Somers of Ventnor, NJ. Johnathan was survived by his sister Judith A. Winslett of Sequim, WA; best friend Barbara A. Brewer of Cocoa Beach, FL; two sons Edward J. Bonner of Merritt Island, FL and David A. Souders (Judy) of Harrington, DE; four daughters Barbara Perry Huff of Cocoa Beach, Sheila Silver of WV, Suzanne Gannon of Port St. John, and Mary (Patty) Uzel of Merritt Island; one grandson Bo Williams of VA; two granddaughters Maygen Wells of VA, Halle R. Huff of Cocoa Beach; seven nephews Edward Birch of Sequim, WA, Richard Birch of Las Cruces, NM, Daniel E. Brewer of Cocoa Beach, FL, Danny M. Winslett Jr. of Colorado Springs, Christopher A. Brewer of Cocoa Beach, William E. Bonner, and Alex Bonner; four nieces Kathleen Bastian of Colorado Springs, Patricia Miller, Sarah Miller, and Anne Rockholt. Johnathan was a founding member of the Joe Realino Memorial Fund, Space Coast Darting Association, and the Florida Darting Association; he was a member of VFW Post 1048, American Legion Post 348, and ELKS LODGE #2387. Calling hours will be from 5pm until 8pm Thursday, December 16 at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home. Services will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, December 17, 2010 @ Beckman-Williams Funeral Home, 101 N. Brevard Ave. Cocoa Beach, FL 32931 followed by a CELEBRATION OF LIFE @ Johnathan's Pub 140 N. Brevard Ave. Cocoa Beach, FL 32931. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Joe Realino Memorial Fund 140 N. Brevard Ave. Cocoa Beach, FL 32931
