Johnnie Mae (Walker) Billingsley was born on August 1, 1937 to Stella and Will John Walker in Rutledge, Alabama and passed away on February 7, 2018 at her home in San Diego. She is survived by 2 sisters Dorothy Hornsby and Ruby Jewel Tolbert in Decatur, Georgia, 6 children, predeceased son George Jr., sons Ronald, Terence and Adrian, daughters Alfreda and Adriene, Daughters-in-law Dawn, Melanie and Marilyn, Sons-in-law Peter Moller and Eugene Price, 10 grandchildren and their spouses, 7 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Johnnie spent most of her years working as an educator with the San Diego Unified School District. After retirement she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, gardening, exercising, and meeting with her friends at the Red Hat Society. She was famous for her hellraising behavior and her good sense of humor. Johnnie will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Services will be held privately for immediate family only.
