Obituary Johnny Ray Carter Sr., 41, passed away after a long illness on Monday, February 25, 2013. He is survived by three sons; Johnny (Angela) Carter Jr., Dalton Carter, Jacob Carter; and one grandson, Bentley Carter, who meant the world to him. Johnny is also survived by his mother, Judy Carter; two sisters, Becky (Rickey) Hines and Linda (Randy) Carter; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Carter Sr.; his brother, Kenneth Carter Jr.; his sister, Tammy Hensley; and his nephew, Robert Carter. Johnny held a special place in his heart for his Christian brother and best friend, Mike Manley. Johnny never met a stranger in need, who he did not offer his home, or food to eat. He traveled all over Lexington for the past year on the LexTran buses and met many drivers that he thought kindly of. Funeral Information Visitation will be 10-12 pm, Thursday, February 28, 2013 followed by service at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing. Burial will take place at Rose Crest Cemetery.
