Edwards Memorial Funeral Homes - University Place
Johnny Arthur Graham
November 3rd, 1948 - January 3rd, 2021
On Sunday, January 3, 2021, Johnny A. Graham, passed away at the age of 72. Johnny was born at Tacoma General Hospital to Mary and John (Walter) Graham. He graduated from Franklin Pierce High School, served in the United States Navy and later went on to become a Journeyman Carpenter. The Tacoma Dome and The East 21st Street Bridge are just two of the many building projects that he would take part in constructing. Johnny loved the outdoors: camping, fishing, nature walks, visiting the beach and Mt. Rainier. He loved music especially Willie Nelson and The Rolling Stones. He was the “life of the party” and known for his signature dance move “The Gator”. He is survived by his wife Fredda, daughter Amy (Rob), granddaughter Chloe Jane (Connor), grandsons: Bailey, Bobby, William, Xavier and Kevin, great-grandson Kyson, brother Mike ( Malia), sisters: Debby (Ken), Peggy, Jill ( Paul) and Melissa (Matt), nieces, nephews and cousins. Johnny’s ashes will be spread at his most loved locations by his wife and daughter. An outdoor celebration of life will be held when social gatherings are permitted. I love you, Daddy-O.
