Master Sargent Johnny E Twaits, passed away peacefully in Tucson, Arizona on March 05, 2018. Johnny was born on January 17, 1934 in Knoble, AR to Lawrence and Lena Twaits and was a 1953 graduate of Wynn High School. In 1953 he joined the United States Air Force. He married Merle Sartin of England, AR in Chowchilla, CA in 1957. A 24-year veteran he retired in 1977 at the USAF Hospital at Davis Monthan AFB. Johnny was a patient and loving husband and father. He is survived by his sisters Imagine Guidrey, Lillie Pemberton; his wife Merle; daughters, Karen Tucker (Sean), Patricia Contreras; his sons, Johnny Jr (Lisa) and Randy (Sharon); his twelve grandchildren; and his five great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Lena, his brother Harold (Buster). A celebration of life will take place on Saturday March 10th from 1 to 5 PM.
