Jon L. Wagner

Jon L. Wagner was born on March 26, 1952 to Harry and Arlene (Phillips) Wagner in LaCrosse, WI. He passed away on March 6, 2015, just 20 days before his 63rd birthday, in Olympia, WA. Jon grew up in LaCrosse and attended Logan High School. He studied to become a maintenance technician through Peirce College in Tacoma, WA. Jon served his country proudly from 1969-1971 as a soldier in the US Army, most of this time he was in Vietnam fighting the war. After his time in the military he worked in construction. Jon married the love of his life, Pamela, on September 16, 1989 in South Lake Tahoe, CA. Jon enjoyed going to concerts, music, traveling, doing carpentry work and gambling. He was a member of the VFW in LaCrosse, WI and the Carpenters Union in Las Vegas, NV. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and always joking around with everyone. His friends know he was a Green Bay Packer and Seahawks fan who loved his chocolate Hershey’s bars and his cats. Jon is survived by his wife; Pamela, stepdaughter; Taun Melby of Lacey, WA, brother; Michael Roswurm of LaCrosse, WI, sister; Kathleen Veldhuizen of LaCrosee, WI, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, a niece, 2 nephews, 1 great nephew and special friends; Pat and Dennis.
