Jonathan Blunk

Jonathan Blunk, 67, of Wilmore, KY passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023, in Lexington, KY. He was born in Louisville, KY on February 23, 1956, to Era Blunk and the late Robert Blunk. He truly enjoyed running races, fishing, pulling pranks and writing music, he was very proud of his album Frozen Lake. He studied music production at Sync Academy as well. He is survived by his mother Era Blunk; his sister, Rhonda Bridgers; brother, Michael Blunk; nieces, Shannon Drabant and Hannah Parsley; aunts, Glenda Garrett and Brenda Ruper; cousin, David Miller; stepdaughters, Misty McCubbins, Sunshine Williams and Brittany Tipton; step grandchildren, McKenzie Williams, Bryleigh McCubbins, Addison McCubbins and Brayden McCubbins. He is preceded in death by his lifelong best friend Kellie Ritchey. A gathering of family and friends will be 4pm-6pm Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Clark Legacy Center – Brannon Crossing.
