Jonathan Lee Fernandez

FERNANDEZ, Jonathan Lee, 23, of Tampa, Florida, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2010. Jonathan was born December 13, 1986 to Elaine Faye Fernandez in Tampa, Florida. Before his death Jonathan was a salesperson in the tree business. Born and raised in Tampa, Jonathan played little league baseball at Forrest Hill. He graduated from Center Academy in Lutz. He was currently attending Everest University on Hillsborough. He loved to spend time with his family and friends. He had a great passion for the outdoors especially for fishing. Jonathan traveled the world, and especially his Alaskan fishing trip. Although his 23 years of life was cut short, his family and friends who knew him best, admired him for his heart of gold and willingness to help others whenever he was needed. He will remain in our hearts and loved and cherished forever. He is survived by his mother, Elaine Faye Fernandez; uncles, Lee Fernandez and wife Debbie; Paul Fernandez and Steven Fernandez and wife, Jill; aunt, Sharon Corrado; loving cousins, Jason Fernandez, Craig Corrado, April Fernandez-Ciervo and husband, Jordan, Erin Fernandez, Joshua "JT" Thomas Fernandez and Eli Fernandez; dearest friend, Alma Fowler; many other loving family members and friends. We will cherish your memory and love you always. A Mass will be 10:30, Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Tampa. The family will receive family members and friends from 9:00 until 10:00 at St. Paul Catholic Church.
