Jonathan Keith Hardin

Jonathan Keith Hardin, beloved Father, Brother and valued member of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, died unexpectedly on February 23, 2018. Keith is preceded in death by his parents, John and Virginia Hardin; and his wife, Patricia Creagh-Hardin. He is survived by his two sons, Jonathan Hardin of Columbia, SC and Charles Hardin of Cocoa, Fla.; his sister, Jennifer Worthington and nephew Collin Worthington residing in Cartersville, Ga; his sister Pam Canada (Don), residing in Camden, SC; and his brother Cliff Hardin (Penny), residing in Sumter, SC. He also leaves behind five grandchildren, cousins and a host of long-time friends. Keith took great pride in being a member of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office and was a valued member of the agency. He was well-loved and known throughout the community as having a big heart and always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. Keith loved the ocean and took great pleasure in diving. Keith believed that life at the beach was different. Time didn’t move hour to hour, but mood to moment. He lived by the currents, planned by the tides and followed the sun. Keith’s funeral is scheduled for Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Faith Viera Lutheran Church, 5550 Faith Drive, Rockledge, FL 32955. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Keith’s life.
