He was born September 2, 1933, in Kansas City, Missouri. Moved to Pharr, Texas when he was eight years old, where he met and married his wife, Angie, in 1951. They moved to Idaho in 1958 where they resided for the next 42 years in Wilder and Homedale. In 2000, they moved to Caldwell. Joe had a love of sports, especially baseball and his beloved Boise State Broncos. He loved the outdoors as well where he tended to his garden of flowers and vegetables, especially his amazing garlic plants. He always made sure his lawn was immaculate and lush. Joe had the opportunity to participate in a Reel Recovery fly-fishing/counseling program for men with cancer in Sun Valley, ID in 2011. It was one of the most rewarding experiences of his life. Joe took pride in everything that he did and instilled that value to all of his family.
