Jose Isaac Castanon

Jose Isaac Castanon, Jr, age 55, of Las Vegas, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jose was born September 20, 1961 in San Fernando, CA. He is the son of Jose and the late Margarita (Caraveo) Castanon, Sr, one of 10 brothers and sisters. Jose grew up in the San Fernando Valley. He attended St. Genevieve High School for 4 years, graduating from there. While at high school he worked as a DJ. Jose had Mariachi band after high school and even played at the Riviera Hotel He played the keyboard, drums, and sang for the band. He was also a Star Trek fanatic. After High School Jose started working in the computer field. He began working for Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department as a forensic investigator about a year ago and loved his job Jose is survived by his wife Margarita Delia Castanon; son Jose Antonio Castanon of San Fernando CA and his father Jose Castanon Sr. A Visitation will be Thursday, December 15 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services, 3975 S. Durango Drive, Suite 104, Las Vegas, NV. The funeral mass will be held 10:00 am on Friday, December 16, 2016 at St. Joseph Husband Of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W Sahara Ave., Las Vegas, NV.
