Jose Cruzado

Mr. Jose Cruzado, 91, of Tribes Hill and Amsterdam, NY, passed away on December 31, 2020 at home with his loving family at his side. He was born in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico on June 29, 1929 a son of the late Pedro and Amparo Lozada Cruzado. Jose grew up in Puerto Rico and attended schools there. He married Elba Santiago on June 30, 1979. Jose enjoyed traveling to Puerto Rico, Florida and many other places. He loved spending time with family and friends. His interests were carpentry, gardening, picture taking, camping, collecting model cars & watching movies. Jose was also very charitable towards others In addition to his loving wife Elba he is survived by his children, son, William Crusado of Tribes Hill, NY daughter Aileen & husband Isaiah Smith of Albany, NY, and son Edwin & wife Dawn Crusado of Saratoga Springs, NY. Beloved grandchildren, Tiffany, Crystal, Jessalynn, Javan, Atalyia, Julianna, Kenneth, Aliza and Estefan. Two great-grandchildren, T'Ella and Sela. Sisters and brothers, Louis, Victor, Thomas, Miguel, Romana, Alenna, Margo, Alberto and Manuel. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Mr. Cruzado was predeceased by two children, Brunilda Cruzado and Wilfredo Cruzado. Jose was employed for over 20 years as a Turbine Inspector at GE in Schenectady before retiring in Florida. He was a communicant of the former St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Amsterdam. It was Mr. Cruzado’s wishes that there be no services.
