Jose De La Cruz

On Sunday, April 17, 2022, Jose De La Cruz, loving uncle, and father of eight children, passed away at age 64. Jose was born May 25, 1957, in Mazapil, Zacatecas to Agustin De La Cruz and Florencia Escobedo. He moved to the United States at a young age. He had eight children. Erika, Theresa, Monica, Cindy, Agustin, Antonette, Jose Jr, and Rebecca. Jose was a free spirit. He would come and go and all while doing that, he would always meet new people and would always make new friends. He knew how to make anyone around him smile and laugh by the way he talked, and how animated he was while talking or telling his stories. He was always the center of attention, just by the way he carried himself and all the stories he had to tell. There was never a dull moment with him. He was loved by everyone. Jose was preceded in death by his father, Agustin, and his mother Florencia. He is survived by his eight children, Erika, Theresa, Monica, Cindy, Agustin, Antonette, Jose Jr, and Rebecca, his two brothers Manuel and Alejandro, and his two sisters, Carmen and Mari, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 22nd, 2022, at 9 o’clock a.m. at Riverside funeral home, located at 225 San Mateo Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108.
