Jose "Joe" Delgado

Jose "Joe" Delgado. a kind and gentle soul, slipped into eternity peacefully May 14, 2024 in Clearwater, Florida, where he spent the majority of his life. 

Born in 1944 in Gary, Indiana, Joe, made his way to Florida and proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force.  Joe married his sweetheart Carol and they were married for 48 years until her passing in 2016.  He loved his wife more than anything and cared for her with an unspeakable love.  

He was known for his quiet demeanor and his unwavering kindness. He had a unique ability to make everyone around him feel valued and heard, always putting others before himself. His gentle nature and loving personality endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus Delgado and Grace Mata, 8 of his siblings, and his wife Carol, He is survived by his beloved son, Jason, his sister, Grace, his brother, Ralph, and many other family and friends. The family remembers him as a  loving husband, devoted father, a caring brother, and a true friend. 

Joe's legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire and guide those who knew him.
