Jose Ricardo Sandoval

Jose Sandoval, age 77, was called home to the Lord on Sunday, September 29 2024 at home surrounded by his loved ones. He was survived by his wife Sarah Sandoval of 34 years, his children, grand children, and great grandchildren.

He was born in Sedillo, NM where he was raised. At the age of 17 years old he enlisted in the United States Navy to serve in the Vietnam war. After his military service was done he pursued his passion and became a mechanic where he worked until he became too ill to continue.

Jose loved spending time with his grandchildren and great granddaughter, he was also a volunteer with Saint Vincent’s de Paul and was an active member of the Guadalupanos as well as the American Legion Post 13.

Jose was loved and will he greatly missed by many people, especially by his daughter, Theresa. Grandchildren, Antonio and Serinity. And great granddaughter Sarah Rose.

Services will be held on Monday, October 21 2024 at Saint Francis Xavier Church (820 Broadway Blvd SE) starting with the Rosary at 8:30 am. Funeral to be held at 9:00am with a reception to follow. His burial will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00pm with another reception to follow at Saint Francis.
