AT2 (E-5), USN, Jose Jonathan Tejera, 32 of Jacksonville, Florida passed away April 26, 2020. He is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie Lynn Tejera (Hernandez); son, Gabriel Anthony Tejera; daughter, Aubree Isabela Tejera; his parents, Jose Tejera Jr. and Lisa A. Tejera (Purvis) and sister, Maylen Tejera. He was born in Tampa and moved to Jacksonville in November of 2018 serving in the United States Navy as an Aviation Electronic Technician. Jose Loved music and was very talented at playing the guitar, bass and drums. Prior to his deployment, he was active at Anchor Church in Ridge Manor and became part of the Worship Team, sharing his musical talent at their services. However, his main love was for his family. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 4, 2020 from 10-10:30 am at Loyless Funeral Home 5310 Land O’Lakes Blvd. Land O’Lakes, FL. 34639 with a Funeral Service immediately after followed by interment at Florida National Cemetery. Unfortunately, due to the Corona restrictions, military honors will be rendered at a later date.
