Josefa Moreno Cisnero, age 94, of Mercedes, passed away May 8, 2021 in Harlingen. She was born Mar. 19, 1927 in Floresville, TX, to the late Abraham and the late Dolores (De La Fuenta) Moreno. She was a longtime resident of LaBelle. Josefa attended Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in LaBelle Survivors include two sons: Bernard Cisnero of LaBelle, FL, Jesse Sellars of Fort Myers and three daughters, Isabelle Cisnero of LaBelle, FL , Roseann Cisnero of Mercedes, TX and Lola Cortez of San Antonio, TX, Many grandchildren and great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. Josefa was preceded in death by her husband, Tiodoso Cisnero Jr; Son Tiodoso Cisnero II (Johnny) and Daughter Mary Medina. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, where Father Juan Carlos Sack will preside, visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Akin-Davis Funeral Home in LaBelle. Burial will be in Fort Denaud Cemetery- LaBelle. Arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home – LaBelle
