Josefina Jimenez, 83, of Caldwell, died Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Meadow View Nursing Home after a long illness.
A viewing will be held Wednesday, September 18, 2024, from 5-7:00 p.m. at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, 624 Cleveland Blvd. in Caldwell. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. also at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, with a graveside dedication to take place on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Canyon Hill Cemetery in Caldwell.
Josefina was born on April 10, 1941, in Eagle Pass, Texas, to Pedro and Odelia Martin. As a migrant worker, she traveled to and from Caldwell with her family, eventually making Caldwell her home. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, barbeque, and Tejano music.
She is survived by her son, Monico Jimenez; daughter, Angie Martin; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro Sr. and Odelia Martin; brothers; Pedro, Enrique and Luis; sister, Oralia; son, Jose Angel Jimenez Jr.; and daughter, Diana Jimenez.
