Mr. John A. Sweeney, age 74 a resident of Winter Haven passed away Thurs. Feb. 5, 2015 at WHH due to kidney failure. Mr. Sweeney was born Jan. 10, 1941 in Quebec, Canada to Clarence and Mary Ange (Dupuis) Sweeney. He was a resident of Winter Haven for 68 yrs. coming from Canada. John was the owner/operator of Sweeney & Sons Painting for over 50 yrs. He attended Hamilton Baptist Church. John was a member of the WH Moose Lodge and the bowling league at Cypress Lanes. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters - Lucille & Jackie. John is survived by; Wife of 26 yrs. Barbara Sweeney of Winter Haven 6 Sons: Timothy, Johnathon, Richard, Glenn, James & Aaron 5 Daughters: Joyce, Joy, Janice, Paula & Destiny 2 Brothers: Robert & Ernest 2 Sisters: Theresa & Armande 22 Grandchildren 11 Great Grandchildren
