April 7, 1969-November 23, 2019 Joseph R Battaglia(50 years old)) of St Clair Shores, MI residing in St Petersburg, FL passed away on November 23, 2019 in St Petersburg, FL. He is survived by his life partner Kevin Taormina of St Petersburg, FL; father, Robert B Battaglia residing in Fairhope, AL; brother Robert M Battaglia (sp: Dixie) of Sterling Heights, MI; sister, Kelly Battaglia of Gross Point Woods; niece, Samantha Battaglia of Sterling Heights; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in his passing by his mother Cassandra (Kelly) Battaglia and his beloved dog Hoby. Celebration of Life will be held in St Petersburg on December 3, 2019, 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm at the Elks Lodge, 2675 66th Street, St. Petersburg, FL. 33710 and in Ferndale, MI on December 14, 2019 at the Elks Lodge in Ferndale from 2-8pm with a memorial service starting at 4pm. In lieu of flowers please send donations In Memory of Joe Battaglia to either The Haven (animal shelter) at PO Box 1063 Fairhope, AL 36533 or Affirmations Ferndale to Affirmations Development 290 West 9 Mile Rd Ferndale, MI 48220.
