Joseph R. Bauer Joseph Bauer passed away June 20, 2011, in Rochester, WA, after a long battle with cancer. He was born April 12, 1958, in Allentown, PA, to Lt. Col. (Ret.) Joseph L. Bauer and Dr. Harriett E. Bauer. Joseph graduated from Nakoma High School in 1976, and was an operating engineer. He enjoyed old cars, riding his Harley and horses, and spending time with his family, friends, and loved ones. Joseph is survived by his parents; sons, Michael K. Bauer of Gloucester Pt., VA, and Ryan Bauer of Gloucester, VA; daughters, Sarah E. (Bauer) Dailey of Rochester, WA, and Samantha Bauer of Gloucester; brothers, Michael C.D. Bauer of Arkansas, and Mark Bauer of Colorado Springs, CO; sister, Antoinette M. (Bauer) Craig of Chesapeake, VA; three grandchildren; his significant other, Debra Byers; and special friends, Natasha, Bev and Don.
