Bell, Sr. Joseph R. 82, of St. Petersburg, FL died Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at Hospice House Woodside. Born in Providence, RI, and moved to St. Petersburg in 1985 from Warwick, RI. He was a United States WWII Navy veteran. He was a member of the Iron Workers Union Local 37 for 30 years. Joe was one of the foremen for the construction of the Newport Bridge, Warwick Mall and Rhode Island Community College. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the VFW. He is survived by daughters, Nancy Bob Adamo, Donna Pat Mahoney and Carol Tim Runyon all of St. Petersburg, FL; sons, Joseph R. Patty Bell, Jr. and George Audry Bell of Warwick, RI and daughter, Maggie Karim Menehbi, Greenville, RI; brother, George Bell, East Providence, RI; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Tues., March 17th from 5-8pm at Barrett & Cotter FH, 1328 Warwick Ave, Warwick, RI 02888. A Funeral Service will be held at 10am on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at Barrett & Cotter FH. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home
