Joseph T. Carter passed away on July 6, 2020, at 78 years of age. He died after a long battle with cancer in the company of the love of his life, Lucille Garcia. He was born and raised in Albuquerque NM and will be remembered as a devoted husband. Joseph served honorably as a disabled US Army Vietnam Veteran and was a Federal and State employee. Joseph is survived by his wife Lucille Garcia and many special relatives and friends. Joseph was a respected, well informed man and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Upon his request he will be privately entombed at Santa Fe National Cemetery, where he will be honored at a later time. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the VA Hospital, UNM Hospital, UNM Cancer Center, Compassus Hospice and Amber/Alliance Care for all their support through this difficult time.
