Joseph Francis Casey

Casey, Joseph F. 86, of Sun City Center, Florida and Humarock, MA. formerly of Dorchester and South Boston died January 26, 2009. He is survived by his wife Mary (Shaughnessy), his son, Joseph P. Casey and his wife Laura, of Annapolis, MD., his daughters Kathleen Casey of Quincy, MA., Barbara Cox and her husband Edward of Norwell, Mass., and grandchildren Daniel and Marisa Cox of Norwell. Brother of Sister Kathleen Casey, of Dorchester, MA., Mary McDonough of South Boston, MA., Margaret Casey of Wareham, MA., and the late Mathias Casey and the late William Casey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was a Veteran of the United States Naval Air Corp and a retired foreman for the Boston Police Fleet Services. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Sun City Center, Florida. Donations in his memory may be made to WGBH radio and television station in Boston or the Shaughnessy Fund at Fairfield Prep School in Fairfield, Ct. A Memorial Service will be held in Massachusetts at a later date.
