Catelli, Joseph F. 75, formally of Hightstown, NJ, passed away April 18, 2008 at St. Anthony's Hospital, St. Petersburg, with his family by his side. Born, July 15, 1932, in Princeton, NJ he graduated Princeton High School. He received his Bachelor's degree from West Virginia University where he played on the baseball team. He served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. While serving he was an MP, ran an officers club and was a member of the United States Army baseball team. After military service he began his career in banking. He had the opportunity to work for National State Bank and Core State Bank in New Jersey in 1997 he retired from Wachovia Bank where he was a Vice President and Senior Commercial Loan Officer. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Hightstown, NJ for many years. He was an avid golfer and sportsman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, and spending time with friends and family especially his 7 grandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife Joan and their son Joseph "Jeff". He is survived by his daughter, Dr. Judith Sved, a son in law, Dr. Alan Sved, their children, Jeffrey and Alyson of Valencia, PA; his son James T., daughter in law, Amy, their children, Casey, Kristy, Jamie, Tommy and Toni of Allentown, NJ; a sister, Joyce A. Catelli of Princeton, NJ; loving companion, Yolanda Burnham of St. Petersburg, FL; loving cousins; many dear friends and Hershey, his dog. A Christian Mass will be celebrated Saturday, May 3rd at 1:30 at St. John's Roman Catholic Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Road, Allentown, NJ 609-259-3391. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 102454, Atlanta GA 30368-2454.
