Joseph "Joe" James Chiodini
February 29th, 1928 - July 8th, 2023
Joseph J. Chiodini, 95, of Largo, Fl., passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Sabal Palms H. C. Center. Born on February 29, 1928, in St. Louis, Mo., he was the son of the late Mario and Louisa (Oldani) Chiodini. Joe was a proud veteran of the US Army, was a wonderful husband to Una and a wonderful father. He enjoyed golfing, lunching with friends, dining out, stage shows and traveling the east coast and cruises with his wife. At home he always had his morning coffee and paper in hand. You'd always see him with pen in hand, writing to relatives and friends. He was a humble, ever giving, loving, compassionate man with a deep faith in his Lord. He was a legend and will be missed. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Laura Riganti. He will be remembered and missed by his daughter Christine (Michael) Keller, his stepsons, John (Jill), Bryan (Sue), Tony (Marcia) Iwanski; 10 step-grandchildren and 10 step-great grandchildren. 7 nieces and nephews; Bernadette (Phil) Cohn, Janet Riganti, Mary Faith (Ted) Green, Vivian (Chip) Stranahan, John (Lenore) Riganti, Carla ( Mike) Russell, and Andrew Riganti, 19 grand nieces and nephews, 17 great grand nieces and nephews, and his sister, Sister Vivian Chiodini, ASCJ, and countless Florida friends. The family wish to thank the dedicated staff at Sabal Palms Health Care Facility for the immeasurable kindness and care they showed our father during his stay there. Family and friends will gather at a Memorial Service, Wednesday July 12, 2023 at 11:00 am at Sabal Palms, Largo. Arrangements have been entrusted to Anderson McQueen Family Tribute Center.
