Joseph James Farina

Joseph James Farina 82, of Tampa, Florida passed away Tuesday July 27th, 2021. Joseph was born October 13th, 1938 in Stamford, Connecticut and moved to Tampa when he was 6 years of age. He was the “Alpha” of the family. He was always such a clown at heart and loved to make everyone laugh. He never met a stranger because he genuinely wanted to know everyone’s story. He was a loving, kind, strong, and generous man, son, brother, father, husband, and friend and loved nothing more than his wife and his family. There are no words to express how much we love him and how much we will miss him. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents Joseph & Anna Farina, and son Joseph E. Farina, Sr. He is survived by his wife Linda Farina, son Michael David Farina, daughter Tammy Burkhalter (Andrew), brothers Thomas Farina (Frances), James Farina (Gerry), sisters Marie Castellano (Fred), JoAnn Quinn (Phil – deceased), Nancy Tucker (Don), Teresa Malek (Paul). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, his grandchildren Joe, Sydney, Will, and Kylie, and his great grandchildren Ginna, and Genna. Joseph will be interred at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida at time yet to be determined.
