Joe Gerlak passed away on November 24, 2010 at his residence, Tiara By The Sea, Melbourne Beach, FL. Joe was born in Tuckahoe, New York, June 15, 1916. Predeceased by his sons, John and Joe, Jr. Survived by his wife, Joyce; and sons, Gary Gerlak and his wife, Sherrie, Mike Gerlak and his wife, Joy. Grandchildren, Lance, Lani, Kirsten and Stella Gerlak. Joe was a golf professional with the PGA for over 50 years. Head Pro at Windham Country Club in New York, also Hollywood Beach Golf & Country Club and Hillcrest Country Club both in Hollywood, FL. World War II Veteran with the 708th Amphibian Tank Battalion with forty-four assault landings in the South Pacific. Burial will take place at South Florida National Cemetery, services will be private. In lieu of flowers please send to your favorite charity.
