Joseph Michael Helms, June 2 1963 – July 22, 2021. Son of Bobbie Lee Helms (Trent) and Joseph (Butch) Chapman Helms. Joe was preceded in death by his father and by his sister Susan Helms-Estes. He is survived by his sister Linda Helms VanBemmel and brother-in-law Jeff as well as nephews Joshua Estes, Jake Reid and Nick VanBemmel, and his uncles Troy Trent and Roger Trent. Joe loved to ride his Harley, was an avid surfer, and he was a prolific and talented water color painter of beach, surfing, and boat scenes. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
