"Ware - Joseph A. Keeney, 46, of Bacon Rd., passed away March 13, 2008 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester, MA. Born June 28, 1961 in Chelsea, MA, he was the son of the late Carlos D. and Bessie (White) Keeney. Joseph attended the Pioneer Valley Day Habilitation in Wales for ten years. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed traveling and listening to music. He will be missed by his caretaker Kathy Wanat her husband Bill and there children Christine and Michael of Ware. He also leaves four brothers Donald Keeney and his wife Renee of Gloversville, NY, Patrick Keeney and his wife Siobhan of W. Roxbury, MA, James Keeney and his wife Nancy Lebeau of St. Cloud, FL and Michael Keeney of Miami, FL. He also leaves a sister-in-law Edna Harrison of Greenfield and many nieces and nephews. A calling hour will be held on Saturday, March 29th from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Pioneer Valley Day Habilitation, P.O. Box 142, Wales, MA 01081. "
