Joseph "Joe" A. Lemsky
November 13th, 1957 - March 8th, 2013
Joseph A. Lemsky of Waukesha, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2013 at the age of 55 years. He was born on November 13, 1957, in Marinette, WI, the son of Glenn and Mary "Pat" (nee Koeppler) Lemsky. Joe married his college sweetheart and love of his life, Patricia M. (nee Gassman) on June 27, 1981. He was a faithful member of Christ the Servant Lutheran Church, a 1980 graduate of Michigan Technological University and worked as a Metallurgist for over 30 years. Joe was an avid sports fan, especially for the Green Bay Packers. He enjoyed golfing, hunting with his son-in-laws, yard work and gardening of vegetables, because health and eating right were important to Joe. Working hard with his hands to fix things and helping others made him forthright and trustworthy. Most of all his family remembers him as being; "Kind", "Gentle" and "Loving". His "Girls" were the joy of his life. Joe will be sadly missed by his wife, Patricia of 31 years; parents, Glenn and Mary "Pat"; his daughters, Johanne (Nick) Bennett and Rebecca (Mike) Goodpaster; grandchildren, Hazel Marie and Ambrose David Goodpaster. He is further survived by 4 brothers, 5 sisters; dear friends, the Huck and Mayer Families; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The visitation for Joe will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. until the 3:00 p.m. Memorial Service at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church, 2016 Center Rd. Waukesha, WI 53189. The Rev. Gary Erickson will be officiating. Memorials are appreciated to the Hope Center 502 N. East Ave Waukesha, WI 53186. The burial will be private.
