Joseph Stanley Madison, 66, passed away on January 10, 2024 in Lexington. Joseph was born in Lexington, Kentucky, on August 12, 1957, to Sallie Jenkins Madison and the late Daniel Workfield Madison. Joe was passionate about cars, clean cars, to be specific; he took pride in his job as a detailer and customer transporter at the James Motors Company Mercedes-Benz, where he was employed for over 25 years. Joe was a limousine driver in his spare time, driving many famous people and celebrities and attending various stellar events in and around Lexington. Joe brought the light into every room he entered and will be greatly missed. In addition to his mother, Sallie J. Madison, he is survived by his children, Toya (Jonathan)Richmond and Joseph D. Campbell; his grandkids, Dakhari Campbell, Jazmine, and Justin Richmond. Siblings: Madoria (Monty)Richardson, Alicia (Michael) Malli, Danise Madison, Donna Madison, Daniel Madison Jr., Toyia Madison, Dane Devon Madison, Bonita Madison, Rosalind Tolbert, Jayme Hamner, and many other close friends that were like siblings. Aunts and Uncles: Mary K. Madison, Leroy Madison, Carrie M. Johnson, Cecil (Kathy)Madison, and Maxie Madison. A host of special cousins, nieces, and nephews, including Anthony (Jammie) Slaughter, Tamara (Brent)Sylvester, and Kirsten Malli. In addition to his father, Joseph was preceded in death by his Uncles Matthew "Mackie," Donald, and Lonnie. A celebration of life gathering will be held for Mr. Joseph Madison on Saturday, January 20, 2024, from 5 to 7 pm at the Clark Legacy Center in Nicholasville, KY.
