Joseph A. Mario Casciato
December 4th, 1963 - March 24th, 2011
Casciato, Joseph A. Mario "Hoagie Moto" 47, went back to the Lord peacefully at home on Thursday, March 24, 2011. He was a graduate of Dixie Hollins High School and he was the manager of his parents' hoagie shop, Colonial Corner. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, paintball player and motorcycle rider. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernest Caccia, Camillo and Anna Casciato. He is survived by his wife, Amanda Shay Casciato; sons, Joseph Seth Casciato and David Patton; mother and father, Joann and Vincent Casciato; grandmother, Josephine Caccia; brothers, Vincent Casciato II and his wife, Diana and Michael Casciato and his wife, Angela; parents-in-law, Marilyn and Tom Shay; brothers-in-law, Blake and Darren Shay; 7 nieces and nephews; and 3 grand-nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 from 6 - 10pm at Anderson McQueen Family Tribute Center, 7820 - 38th Ave. N. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 10am at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 7851-54th Ave. N., with burial to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Eckerd Community Alternatives, 8550 Ulmerton Road, Suite 130, Largo, FL 33771 (727-456-0600).
