McDonald, Joseph Marvin Castle Rock – Joseph Marvin McDonald, 16-month-old son of Aidan and Julie McDonald passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 20, 2022. Anyone who met Joseph understood the deep love his parents had for him and will always remember his beautiful blue eyes, infectious smile, and the joy he brought to this world. In addition to his parents, Joseph is survived by his twin brother Patrick. Also survived by his paternal grandparents Colleen and Terry McDonald of Parker, maternal grandparents Rhonda and Jim McKeon of Albany, NY, and paternal great-grandmothers Elizabeth Reid of Parker and Jan McDonald of Lake in the Hills, IL. Joseph is also survived by his aunts, Maeve McDonald of Parker, Katie (Matt) Cirigliano of Glenville, NY, Erin McKeon of Fayetteville, NC, and Joanne (James) Kemnitz of Caledonia, NY and cousins Michael and Christopher Kemnitz and Sam Cirigliano. Also survived by a large extended family of great aunts, great uncles, and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call at the Ponderosa Valley Funeral Home in Parker on Tuesday, September 27 from 5:00-7:00 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Ave Maria Catholic Parish in Parker on Wednesday, September 28 at 11:30 am. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Castle Rock. Julie and Aidan are deeply grateful for the overwhelming outpouring of prayers and support from family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors at this very difficult time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bella Health & Wellness, 180 East Hampden Avenue, Englewood, CO 80113 or New Melleray Abbey, 6632 Melleray Circle, Peosta, IA 52068.
