Joseph "Joe" Meyer of Plymouth died in an auto accident on Highway 49 Tuesday, May 17, 2016. Best known for his hard hat, creative storytelling and numerous escapades, Joe provided many hours of laughter to his family and friends. Joe was truly a unique individual. He had a kind heart and never hesitated to help a friend. Joe loved hunting, fishing, old western movies and working on various "projects" around the house he shared with his wife Barbara of 54 years. Joe was preceded in death by his parents Francis "Moon" and Dorothy Meyer and his sisters Judy, Carol and Joanne all of Plymouth. Joe leaves behind his wife Barbara, daughter Jeanette Meyer, son Scott (Paula) Meyer and grandchildren Shelby, Jeremy and Rachel. As Joe wished there are to be no services. He will be laid to rest at the cemetery in Plymouth.
