Joseph John Minieri

The world became brighter the day that Joseph John Minieri was born in the bustling borough of Bronx, New York. Joseph passed away peacefully and naturally on April 02, 2023, at the age of 84, surrounded by his family. His memory will forever be in our hearts, as he has found eternal peace in God's grace and in Heaven. You could always tell Joseph was proud of his Italian and Catholic heritage. After high school, Joseph joined the U.S. Navy, becoming a Chief Petty Officer and retiring after 22 years. He served on the USS Intrepid during the Vietnam War. He also served as a U.S. Navy percussionist and as the Leader of the U.S. Naval Band. Joseph enjoyed a career in Real Estate, working his way up to become a Real Estate Broker at Coldwell Banker Realty in Annapolis, Maryland. Joseph had many friends and was a well-loved member of the Annapolis community, which included his connections in Real Estate, local music, and his love of attending the U.S. Naval Academy Stadium to watch their football games. Joseph is predeceased by his wife Nancy, his parents Theresa and Carmine, his father Salvatore, and his daughters Melody and Jacqueline. He is survived by his daughter Michele, his stepsons Scott (Rachel), Chris, and Joey (Renee), his grandchildren Jessica, Brent, and Nicole, his step-grandchildren Luke, Leah, Savannah, and Cooper, and his sister Maryann(Frank), their children Michael and Frank Jr., and their families. We would love for you to attend the Funeral Service at Saint Mary’s Parish in Annapolis on Thursday, June 15th 2023, at 1030am.
