Joseph Morrell
September 7th, 1919 - April 7th, 2015
Mr. Joseph Morrell, age 95, of Auburndale passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at his home. Mr. Morrell was born in Meigs, GA, to Benion & Ethel Morrell and had lived in this area since 1923. He was a contractor involved with building several local Publix stores. Mr. Morrell was a member of First Baptist Church of Auburndale and an Army Veteran of WWII. He was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie L. Morrell. Survivors include his wife of 73 years, Opal Hughes Morrell of Auburndale, son, Joseph L. (Carolyn) Morrell of Blairsville, GA, daughter, Paula (Jerry) Stokes of Plant City, 3 grandchildren, Lisa (Michael) Ayers of Crenshaw, GA, Bailey Stokes & Jared Stokes of Plant City and 2 great grandchildren, C.J. & Lucas Ayers.
