Joseph John Powers

Powers, Joseph J. Jr., 91, of Sun City Center, Fla and formerly of Chatham, New Jersey and Williamsburg, Virginia passed away December 22, 2015. He served in the United States Army during World War II and retired as owner of Apollo Print Company, Inc. in New Jersey. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maude G. Powers and by his brother, William Powers. Survivors include two sons and daughters in law, Joseph J. Powers, III and his wife, Peggy C. Powers, and Richard A. Powers and his wife, Patricia G. Powers, a daughter and son in law, Janet Powers Dunne and her husband, William J. Dunne, a brother and sister in law, Edmund Powers and his wife, Jean, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held in Chatham, New Jersey at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National World War II Museum, 945 Magazine Street, New Orleans, LA 70130.
