Joseph A. Savio of Indialantic, FL, formerly of Salem, MA passed away, Thursday, October 14, 2010 at his home. He was born in Lawrence, MA, on July 6, 1918, son of the late Giuseppi and Rose (Spidale) Savio. Mr. Savio was a Naval Veteran of World War II. He was also a Master cabinet maker for many years at Jeffrey Bros. of Salem, MA. Survivors include his wife, Rose (Palmieri) Savio; a daughter, Rose Falkenstein of Satellite Beach, FL formerly of Plymouth, MA and her husband, Ronald; a son, Joseph Savio of Indialantic, FL, formerly of Salem, MA and his wife, Christine; three grandchildren, David Falkenstein of Easton, MA, Debra Martinello of Peabody, MA, and Lori Sarnecki of Plymouth, MA; and seven great-grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Indialantic, FL with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Vitas Hospice, 4450 W. Eau Gallie Blvd., Melbourne, FL 32934.
