Joseph P. Stubbings, 68, passed away November 3, 2018 in Olympia, Washington. He was born October 26, 1950 to Joseph and Theresa Stubbings in Seattle, Washington. An Olympia-area resident for 42 years, he lived at Brentwood Apartments for 22 years, the Colonial Inn for 2 years, and most recently at Arbor View Adult Family Home for three years. Joseph worked as a clerk for Washington Labor and Industries from July 1997 to December 29, 2006. He was quiet and reserved, and had a great memory for dates. He loved watching old westerns and listening to country/western music on the radio each day. Joseph is survived by his daughter, Elaine Stubbings; brother, Randy Stubbings; and sister, Elizabeth Rothamel. He was predeceased by his parents; and brothers, Charles Stubbings, Richard Stubbings, and Robert Stubbings. Services will be held Friday, November 16, 2018, 1:00 p.m. at Westwood Baptist Church, 333 Kaiser Rd. NW, Olympia, WA 98502.
